A Realtor's Guide to Title Insurance (2CE)

This is a 2-hour course designed to provide real estate agents a comprehensive review of the importance of Title insurance as protection against any prior claim of property ownership. Real estate agents will have a better understanding of how to properly represent buyers and sellers by knowing what is included in a title search, how to uncover both recorded and unrecorded liens on property, and common type of problems that arise that may result in a claim against the policy. This course will review several key considerations on how to recognize fraudulent behavior and how to avoid illegal tampering with a real estate transaction.
