Open House Weekend is live
May Open House Weekend runs today through Sunday, May 3. Consumers can browse open houses, search homes, and connect back to BER members through the public page. Please share the page with buyers, sellers, and your sphere to help bring more local attention to member listings.

Last call for golfers
33rd Annual BER Golf Challenge
The 33rd Annual Golf Challenge is next Friday, May 8, which means this is the final stretch to get your foursome registered. Whether you are playing for the competition, the networking, or just a fun Friday morning on the course with fellow members, this is one of BER’s signature spring events.
Gather your team of four and join us at Spring Run for a day of golf, connection, prizes, and community support. Team registration is $520 per foursome. Registration opens at 7:15 AM, followed by an 8:00 AM shotgun start.

Important billing notice
MLS Billing Is Now Live
MLS billing for REALTORS® and brokerages is now live as of May 1. Members should review and pay their MLS invoice by May 31, 2026 to avoid late fees and service interruptions.
To process your invoice, click the payment link included in your billing email, or log in to the Member Portal and go to your billing section. The billing area will show the amount due and provide a link to process payment.

Billing timeline at a glance
May 1: MLS billing is live for REALTORS® and brokerages.
May 31: Payment is due.
After May 31: A $25 late fee is added to unpaid invoices.
After June 30: Membership is shut off and an additional $50 reactivation fee is added.

Florida business reminder
Florida LLC Annual Reports Are Due Today
If you operate your real estate business through a Florida LLC or other covered Florida business entity, today is an important deadline. Florida annual reports must be filed through Sunbiz by 11:59 p.m. EST on Friday, May 1, 2026 to avoid the state’s $400 late fee.
This reminder is especially important for members who maintain an LLC for their business, team, property management company, brokerage entity, or related real estate services.

Deadline: Friday, May 1, 2026 by 11:59 p.m. EST.
Late fee: $400 for covered entities that file after May 1.
LLC annual report fee: $138.75 if filed on time.
File directly: Use the official Sunbiz annual report page and be cautious of third-party solicitations.
