For Business:

Our office location is open for all BER members to utilize - We have power, Wi-Fi and plenty of room to continue your business or check-in with family and friends.  Some of our staff still have limited access to email and cell.  Please contact Support@BERealtors.org or Tech@BERealtors.org - Our Events & Classes will be postponed until further notice.  September license renewals have been extended until October 31st, 2022.

Membership Check-In:

We want to ensure that you and your family are safe after the storm and we are organizing ways to help volunteer and collect donations for the community.  If you have not already done so, please complete the wellness check-in so we can better understand your situation.  In this form we will also be asking for those who are able to volunteer and help others in our community:

For Those Who Can Help:

If you have any rentals that can be placed on the MLS, please do so.  There are many people looking for a temporary place to stay.  We are also putting groups together every day to help clean up home affected by the storm, please fill out the wellness check-in and let us know if you are able to lend a hand.  We will be promoting many opportunities where you can provide help. 

 

For Those Who Need Help: 

Provided are some of the resources you can use if you lost your home or sustained damage as a result of the Hurricane:

Florida Realtors Disaster Relief Fund: 

This is a fund created solely for Realtors to be used in the event of sustained serious physical and/or structural damage to personal property or office location. 

FEMA Disaster Assistance: 

FEMA has now opened registration for those affected and eligible for assistance.  Please be sure to file as quickly as possible.

BE AWARE OF SCAMS:

Please note - an unfortunate side effect of these storms is an influx of out of area insurance agents and scammers looking to take advantage of victims.  Please understand your rights.

Unemployment Resource:

We know many businesses may be affected by the Hurricane.  Here are links to unemployment assistance and an opportunity to help get paid temporarily for Lee County clean-up and debris monitoring.

For individuals who need help with damage and potential leaks in your roof, operation blue roof is a few resource opening up for those who may be eligible.  Find out more:

Some areas are experiencing shortages and long lines for gasoline.  Check for Availability Here:

Power:

Many Areas in Lee and Collier County are still working on getting power up and running.  Please see the links to the providers outages maps.

Lee Health announced its TeleHealth service is free to use before going to any of their facilities.  To receive TeleHealth service, you can visit here:
