BOARD OF DIRECTOR SLATE 2027

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING being held  at 9 am on September 11th at Estero Country Club.  You may vote online in place of an in-person vote.

The election of officers and directors shall take place at the annual meeting or, where permitted by state law, electronically.

The Leadership Development Committee (formerly nominating committee) shall present to the membership a slate of at least one candidate for each vacancy on the board of directors to be filled and for each officer to be elected each year. A quorum was present for the Leadership Development Committee interviews, and the majority of voting members present approved the slate in compliance with Robert's Rules of Order.  

The election of directors and officers shall be held at the annual meeting or any special meeting of the members of this Association, which shall take place at a date, time, and place specified by the Board of Directors. 

Votes shall be cast by any eligible member, in person or by proxy, including electronic proxy, which designates the Chair of the Leadership Development Committee to act for such member by proxy. Such proxy shall also instruct the Chair of the Election Committee to cast his/her ballot at the annual meeting and election of directors and officers in the name of the candidates designated by the member.

Proxy voting shall be allowed beginning one (1) week prior or before to the annual meeting and election of directors and officers. 
The Chair of the Leadership Development Committee shall cast all proxy votes as directed by each member and tally the results at the annual meeting and election of directors and officers. The method of proxy and/or electronic proxy voting shall be determined by the Board of Directors.

Quorum for Membership Meetings.  A quorum for the transaction of business at general and/or special meetings of the membership shall consist of ten percent (10.00%) of the members eligible to vote, except as may otherwise be required by state law.

The Chair of the Leadership Development Committee shall declare voting closed at the annual meeting and election of directors and officers at the published time determined by the Board of Directors. Voting cannot be reopened for members once declared closed.

The slate was thoroughly vetted by the Leadership Development Committee and is now presented to you, the members, for a vote of confidence.  All candidates are ready and willing to serve to make the best decisions for the membership.
