Riverside Rally for Clean Water

Description

As a community, you are invited to attend this annual event to learn more about what you can do as a private citizen to protect our waterways and shorelines.  This event is open to all ages.  Collectively as a community, we have to be part of the solution to protect and preserve our way of life here is Southwest Florida.  People flock to our subtropical climate because of our beautiful weather and water, so it is a commodity that we need to preserve.  Our gulf, rivers, and tributaries are critical to our ecosystem and many habitats.  It is crucial that we protect our most important natural resource, water.  

Raising awareness is the one step to solving the problem not just locally, but we can spread this campaign across the US and world to make a better world for all of us.  Raising money is another, to help different organizations that exist here in SWFL continue to do the great work like research and clean up.  As you click through the sessions, you will see that there is a lot of interconnectivity with numerous organizations that ultimately want the same common goal, protecting our planet.  At this event you will have a chance to hear from different organizations and find out what they are doing and how you can get involved.  Please click on the breakout sessions button above to find out more.
