The 2025 Consent to Serve Application is officially open! Are you ready to take a leadership role and help shape the future of BER? If you've been an active member, fulfilling various roles and meeting our ethical standards, this might be your chance to further your involvement and influence within our community.

Eligibility Requirements

To serve in these esteemed roles, candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria, which includes:

  • Being a member in good standing for at least two consecutive years.
  • Having served on at least two association committees or being an active broker.
  • Completing all required ethical training.
  • No outstanding financial obligations to the association.

Special for Voting Directors:

  • Must be actively serving on a BER committee or be an RPAC Major Investor.

Benefits of Serving:

  • Opportunity to guide and influence the association's strategic directions.
  • Attendance at key meetings with lodging and registration fees covered by the board.

NAR Settlement

 

Update (May 3rd, 2024): Associations across the country have been given until June 18th to agree to the settlement terms and implement a plan with the new settlement changes.  Once all three associations in SWFLAMLS have signed, discussion will begin on the implementation of said changes into our joint system.  This is expected to take place in July, but we will be providing updates as we receive them.
